Prior to joining Beacon Asset Management as Director of Core Equity Investments, Mr. Hinzmann served for nearly 15 years as a Senior Equity Portfolio Manager at Munder Capital Management. The last six years of his tenure at Munder he was the lead portfolio manager for the Munder Growth and Income Mutual Fund. Under his guidance, the fund consistently earned 4 and 5 STAR ratings (the two highest categories) from Morningstar.

Prior to joining Munder in 1987, Mr. Hinzmann served as the Chief Investment Officer-Equities for Comerica Bank�s Trust and Investment Division from 1982-1987. Prior to that he worked 14 years at Manufacturer�s National Bank, where he was part of the team that originally invented the GARP (Growth At a Reasonable Price) equity investment style.

Mr. Hinzmann received a Bachelor of Economics from Wayne State University.
