Ouma Rasethaba was appointed acting chief corporate affairs on April 26 2007. Ouma joined Telkom in February 2006 as Group Executive Regulatory and Public Policy. She was Admitted as an attorney of the Supreme Court of South Africa in 1990 and passed the Bar examinations in 1996 whereafter she practised as an advocate at Schreiner Chambers Johannesburg Bar. She was trained as Mediator and Arbitrator by IMMSA and served as a member of the Local Government Legislation Drafting Team Gauteng Province. Ouma obtained her B Proc at the University of the North in 1984 LLB at the University of the Witwatersrand in 1986 and LLM at the University of Pretoria in 1995 whereafter she obtained a Higher Diploma in Company Law at the University of Witwatersrand in 1996. |
