Padmanabhan Srinagesh is a Principal in ERS Group�s Emeryville office. He is an expert in telecommunications issues, auctions, and antitrust analyses. He has analyzed interconnection arrangements among providers of telecommunications services, has evaluated several mergers of large telecommunications firms, and has examined antitrust allegations in local telecommunications markets and markets for telecommunications equipment. Dr. Srinagesh has also supported bidders in spectrum auctions, analyzed allegations of sham bidding in spectrum auctions, and developed strategic and business analyses of emerging telecommunications technologies, including wireless technologies. In addition to traditional telecommunications, he has analyzed damages resulting from alleged bid-rigging, from the sale of equipment alleged to be Y2K-noncompliant, from violations of intellectual property rights (both lost profits and reasonable royalty), and from breach of contract. He has also evaluated attempted monopsonization and predatory behavior in markets for timber and lumber. Dr. Srinagesh�s articles have appeared in such academic journals as the Journal of Regulatory Economics, the American Economic Review, and the RAND Journal of Economics. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Rochester, an M.A. in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics, India, and a B.A. in Economics from St. Stephen�s College of Delhi University, India. |
