Ms. Gorcowski concentrates in civil appeals. She has extensive appellate experience, including in the areas of medical negligence defense, contract litigation, product liability, premises liability, and civil rights.
Experience
Ms. Gorcowski has handled over sixty appeals, with twenty-seven reported decisions.
She has represented clients and has argued cases before the Supreme Court of Illinois, as well as in the First, Second, Third and Fourth District Appellate Courts of Illinois. She was admitted as a member of the bar of the Supreme Court of the United States in 2000 and is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
