Pamela L. Moore, Ph.D., is senior editor, practice management, for Physicians Practice. Previously, she was a director with ModernPractice.com, in charge of all Web development, content development, information architecture, and overall Web strategy. Similar to PhysiciansPractice.com, the site focused on practice management. Pam also spent three years as senior editor with the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). Pam was in charge of MGMA�s journal, reviewing articles for accuracy and lining up industry experts as writers. Pam also headed up efforts to liven up the content and design of MGMA�s Web site; she contributed weekly articles and user polls and made sure the site met the needs of users. She was part of the Internet strategy team for MGMA. She also worked on MGMA�s newspaper as assistant editor and as a regular writer. Prior to joining MGMA, Pam worked as editor on three other healthcare publications, primarily in hospital management and marketing. Pam also is involved in local education and policy making, serving as a board member of the Colorado Healthcare Strategy and Management group. |
