With expertise in community banking, SEC regulations, and Sarbanes-Oxley policies and procedures, Pamela Maes is well-positioned to manage Security Business Bank?s continued financial growth.
In her role as CFO, Maes will oversee all finance, accounting and information systems for the bank?s core business units as well as SBA lending and cash management specialty operations.
Most recently, Maes held a similar position at Community Bancorp Inc./Community National Bank headquartered in Escondido. Maes? tenure with Community Bancorp Inc. also included positions as first vice president and controller. There, she gained significant experience in the small and mid-sized business banking market, and San Diego business landscape.
In addition to her professional banking experience, Maes also worked at the San Diego offices of Accredited Home Lenders and Deloitte & Touche LLP. While at Accredited Home Lenders, Maes played an integral part in the organization?s transition from a private institution to a publicly traded company.
She is a certified public accountant with a bachelor of science in business from California State University San Marcos. |
