He was born in Milan in 1960. Graduated in Economics at the University Bocconi of Milan he is a chartered accountant and auditor. He is Professor of accounting at the Bocconi University of Milan and carries out activities as strategy and corporate finance expert and as legal and tax advisor. He acts as legal and tax advisor for important Italian companies; he has also been appointed Director of RCS Quotidiani Aurora Assicurazioni Mediaset and Versace Chairman of the Statyutory Auditor of Sirti and Saipem and effective Auditor of Banca Intesa Credit Suisse Lottomatica and Pirelli Lab. Since May 2002 he is effective Statutory Auditor and since May 2005 Chairman of the Statutory Auditors of Eni S.p.A..
