Pat has more than twenty two years experience in scientific computing including 7 years experience in high performance parallel computing. His previous employment includes the High Performance Computing Division of the Army Research Laboratory (1995-1997) and the Applied Mathematics Branch of the Naval Surface Warfare Center (1980-1995) where he was responsible for research programs in numerical methods for gas dynamics problems. His work at the DoD laboratories included research, development, and application of numerical methods for a wide range of fluid dynamics problems including incompressible, compressible, dusty-gas, and magnetohydrodynamics flow problems. |
