Patricia E. Chow is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Washington, D.C. office. She is a member of the Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Department and concentrates her practice on patent litigation and intellectual property law.
Patricia has experience practicing before the U.S. International Trade Commission and in the U.S. District Courts. Patricia has litigated matters involving various technologies including voltage regulators, hard disk drives and information filtering systems.
Prior to joining the Firm, Patricia worked at the Federal Communications Commission as a legal intern of the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau, Spectrum Competition and Policy Division, where she obtained experience with commercial mobile radio services and antitrust and divestiture issues. Patricia also has experience designing and writing software for a Fortune 50 company.
Patricia earned her bachelors of science degree in electrical engineering at Princeton University, with a concentration in solid state devices. While attending law school, Patricia was a managing editor of The George Washington International Law Review.
Patricia attended classes at the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center in Munich, Germany, studying international intellectual property law. Patricia also attended Princeton-in-Beijing, where she refined her written and spoken Mandarin skills at a total-immersion Chinese language course held in the People�s Republic of China.
Patricia is admitted to practice in New York and the District of Columbia, as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
