Patricia J. Hogan is a partner in the firm's Chicago office and is engaged in the practice of civil litigation, with primary emphasis on construction litigation, medical malpractice, products liability, and civil trial practice. Ms. Hogan has extensive experience in construction accident litigation and has defended many different contractors, architects, subcontractors, owners, and engineers. Ms. Hogan has handled many institutional, commercial, governmental, and residential projects. Ms. Hogan has also been involved with several medical malpractice cases, primarily involving obstetric issues. She has lectured on medical and legal issues before physicians, nurses, hospital risk managers and other medical health care groups. Ms. Hogan served as a member of the Trial Academy Committee of the Illinois Defense Counsel (IDC) from 1999-2002. She served as chairwoman of that committee from 2001-2002. Additionally, Ms. Hogan served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel from June, 2000 to June, 2003. |
