As Chairman and CEO, Patricia Gallup concentrates on corporate vision and long-term strategy for the firm she co-founded in 1982 with partner David Hall. Starting with an initial investment of $8,000, Gallup and Hall oversaw the company's spectacular growth into a direct marketing powerhouse for computer products and technology solutions that in 1999 surpassed $1 billion in annual sales. Under Gallup's leadership, PC Connection completed an Initial Public Offering of its common stock in March 1998 and trades on the Nasdaq Exchange under the symbol PCCC. Gallup has appeared on Fortune Magazine's list of top young entrepreneurs and for three years has been named to Working Woman's list of the top 50 women business owners in the United States. She is a 1979 graduate of the University of Connecticut and in 1994 received its distinguished alumni award. |
