Patricia Nakache is a General Partner at Trinity Ventures, a Silicon Valley venture capital firm founded in 1986 and focused on building leading-edge information technology companies.
As the working mother of three school-age children, Patricia understands how important it is, and how difficult it can be, to find quality childcare. She immediately resonated with Care.com's mission to provide an online resource for parents to easily connect with trustworthy care providers. Ms. Nakache focuses on funding companies launching innovative business and consumer services. She is particularly interested in Internet-based marketing and information services, alternative advertising solutions, and software delivered as a service.
In addition to Care.com, Ms. Nakache serves on the board of i4cp, Jobster and PayScale, and has previously been active on the boards of Affinity Labs (acquired by Monster), LoopNet (LOOP) and MyNewPlace. Patricia also helped lead Trinity's investments in Vimo, PlayFirst, and Sabrix.
Prior to joining Trinity in 1999, Ms. Nakache spent six years with McKinsey & Company advising enterprises in technology, retailing and financial services on strategic and operational issues. She has contributed to FORTUNE magazine and other publications on management best practices in technology companies.
Ms. Nakache is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Harvard University where she majored in Physics and Chemistry. She holds an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business where she was an Arjay Miller Scholar. |
