Patrick D. Vellone received his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, in Political Science from Northern Illinois University in 1982. He then went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1985, Order of the Coif. He is a member of the National Panel of Arbitrators for the American Arbitration Association and the National Association of Securities Dealers. Mr. Vellone has spoken at the American Bar Association National Conference concerning lender liability law in the 1990�s. He also co-authored the Uniformed Commercial Code Compliance Manual for Lender (1994). Mr. Vellone�s primary area of practice is complex commercial litigation with particular emphasis on securities, lender liability defense, construction and contract litigation. Mr. Vellone has been a member of the Colorado Bar since 1985, is a member of the Denver and American Bar Associations and is licensed to practice in Colorado, the United States District Court, District of Colorado, the United States Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Vellone has been admitted to practice for particular cases in several federal and state courts throughout the United States.
