Pat Lee is a Managing Director of Brownfields Capital. Mr. Lee is a registered professional engineer with over 20 years of environmental and technical management experience skilled in the implementation of cost-effective environmental remediation systems. Mr. Lee has extensive project and program management experience and is familiar with federal environmental laws including CERCLA and RCRA. He has assisted industrial clients and their legal counsel in developing remediation approaches and strategies for dealing with litigation and regulatory compliance issues. Mr. Lee has held positions as environmental engineering manager for Cyprus Amax Minerals Company and manager of oil & gas reserve acquisitions for Cyprus Power Corporation. His project experience includes work with industrial and manufacturing industries in Oklahoma, Texas, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio and Colorado. At Cyprus, Mr. Lee led the financial and operational management of the company�s nation-wide remedial operation, providing technical direction and program management on remedial design, regulatory agency negotiation in hazardous and solid waste management. He has also been involved in the evaluation and development of environmental remedies, including remedial investigations, feasibility studies, site investigations, remedial actions and Brownfields activities on over fifty sites in 17 states. Specific Brownfields transactions have included the negotiation and the sale of a multi-million dollar CERCLA Superfund site to a land developer in the Northeast. Mr. Lee graduated from the University of Western Ontario where he received a Bachelors Degree in Engineering Science (Mechanical) in 1973 and a Masters of Business Administration Degree in 1977. |
