Pat Sly is business leader for Emerson�s tools and storage products operations which posted sales of $2.1 billion in fiscal 2006. He began his career at Emerson in 1980 as national sales manager for power tools. Sly subsequently held several positions of increasing responsibility within the Emerson Tool division, including executive vice president for sales and marketing, and president. He became president of Ridge Tool in 1993 and assumed additional duties as Emerson group vice president in 1998 and was promoted to senior vice president in 1999. He was promoted to executive vice president in 2000.
Sly currently serves on the Saint Louis University Board of Trustees, and the boards of directors for Benedictine College, Boys Hope Girls Hope, and the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation. He received his bachelor�s degree in business administration from Benedictine College (Kansas) and an MBA from Saint Louis University. |
