Patrick is responsible for overseeing risk management for our international subsidiaries and strategic investments. This includes developing and recommending risk management policies, evaluating the risk in potential insurance or investment opportunities, evaluating and monitoring the markets and economies in which PMI currently operates as well as those in which an investment is being considered. He also monitors the operational risk and portfolio quality of the PMI Capital Corporation investments.
Prior to joining PMI, Patrick worked in New York in the financial guaranty industry for approximately fourteen years, most recently at XL Capital Assurance, where he was the Chief Credit Officer. Before that he worked at MBIA, based in Armonk, New York.
Pat holds a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
