Dr. Patrick L. Spencer brings to us 8 years of advanced ophthalmic surgery experience with more than 10,000 LASIK procedures performed. He is board certified and serves as Vice Chairman for the Department of Ophthalmology at Grandview Hospital and Medical Center which has been recognized amongst the top 5 percent as a Distinguished Hospital for Clinical Excellence by Health Grades for the past three years. A Clinical Associate for Wright State University School of Medicine and Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, doctor Spencer also educates and trains young physicians.
His personal commitment to vision excellence continues through his oversight and development of the Student Sight Saver program which conducts monthly free eye screenings through a grant sponsorship by the Friends of the Congressional Glaucoma Caucus Foundation.
The University of Dayton athletic department recognizes his leadership within the community where is serves as their consulting ophthalmologist. He also serves as the Dayton Dragon�s official Ophthalmologist, which is the affiliate to the Cincinnati Reds baseball team.
A graduate of Northeast Missouri State University where he earned his B.S. in Biology, Dr. Spencer went on to the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine to earn his Doctor of Osteopathy. He is a member/licensed and board certified by the following organizations:
