Patrick P. Fourteau was elected a director in May 2004, and his current term as director will expire at the annual meeting of stockholders to be held in 2007. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer in November 2003 after serving as President and Chief Operating Officer since May 2003. Mr. Fourteau is a seasoned pharmaceutical industry executive having over 25 years of industry experience, with particular expertise in executing sales strategies for pharmaceutical products. Mr. Fourteau most recently served as President of Ventiv Health Sales from 2002 to 2003. His prior experience includes service as President of various divisions of St. Jude Medical from 1995 to 2000 and service as an executive with Eli Lilly prior to 1995. He holds a B.A. and a Masters in Mathematics from UC Berkeley and an M.B.A. from Harvard University. |
