President and Chief Executive Officer, PolyMedica Corporation
Mr. Ryan is President and Chief Executive Officer of PolyMedica Corporation (NASDAQ/NM: PLMD), a leading direct-to-consumer provider of health care products and services for individuals with chronic diseases. Before joining PolyMedica, Mr. Ryan served as the Chairman and CEO of Physicians Dialysis Inc., the nations sixth largest dialysis provider when it was acquired by DaVita Inc., in September 2004. Previously, Mr. Ryan served as President and Chief Executive Officer of PrincipalCare Inc., a company specializing in womens healthcare, and ImageAmerica, Inc., a publicly-traded company that provided medical diagnostic imaging services. Mr. Ryan has served as a director for numerous companies and non-profit organizations throughout his career. Mr. Ryan currently serves as a director for PolyMedica Corporation, and in the non-profit community, he serves on the Northeast Health Foundation board of trustees and the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center board of directors. Mr. Ryan holds a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Rochester.
