Patrick O�Leary joined the public finance investment banker group at Piper Jaffray in 2005. He previously spent 16 years in the public finance departments of two Minneapolis based investment banking firms. He is primarily engaged in the origination of tax exempt and taxable bonds and loans for housing projects, long-term care facilities and commercial real estate development.
O'Leary's prior experience extends to a variety of credit enhancement programs including: GNMA/FHA Insured, FNMA, FHLMC, MBIA and various bank letters of credit. In addition, his efforts include stand-alone rated bonds from Moody�s and Standard & Poor�s, non-rated bonds (first mortgage and subordinate mortgage), and mortgage loan participations.
His clients include for-profit and not-for-profit owners and operators. O�Leary engages in by bond insurers and municipal fund managers to evaluate distressed multifamily, long-term care projects and serves as advisor and underwriter in the restructurings of those distressed assets. O�Leary is a graduate of Lawrence University, Wisconsin with bachelor's degrees in economics and slavic linguistics. |
