Paul Maleh Executive Vice President Head of Finance Platform is head of CRA�s Finance practice. He is an expert in the application of financial and economic theory to complex business matters. Mr. Maleh directs research for CRA projects that concern business valuation securities litigation breach of contract bankruptcy and general business damages. His experience in such work spans a wide range of industries including telecommunications and high-tech energy computer hardware and software pharmaceuticals investment banking retail and sports and entertainment. In performing valuations of companies and securities Mr. Maleh provides corporate clients with assistance on recapitalizations and restructurings acquisitions and divestitures and fairness opinions. In litigation contexts his analysis covers such topics as cashflow estimates but for revenue analyses competing financial models and estimates of appropriate discount rates. Likewise in securities litigation Mr. Maleh helps defend companies and accounting firms against Section 11 and Rule 10b-5 claims involving common stocks preferred stocks and convertible bonds. He critiques class certification assesses materiality and causation performs damages estimates and assists in case discovery. |
