Mr. Rufo joined with Edward D. Kutchin in 1988 to form Kutchin & Rufo, P.C. Mr. Rufo has advised an array of clients in matters involving the acquisition and sale of real estate, as well as financing, use, and leasing; the prosecution and defense of complex commercial lawsuits and personal injury litigation; and various corporate formation, funding, and employment issues. Mr. Rufo has developed many strong relationships within the legal, financial, and political communities in the City of Boston and throughout Massachusetts.

Mr. Rufo was chosen as an editor of the Suffolk University Law Review. Upon completion of law school, he served as a law clerk to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Rhode Island, where he researched and drafted supreme court opinions.
