Paul D. Lapides has been a director since December 1993. Mr. Lapides is Director of the Corporate Governance center in the Michael J. Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University, where he is an assistant professor of management and entrepreneurship. A certified public accountant, Mr. Lapides is the author or co-author of more than 100 articles and twelve books on real estate, management and directors� responsibilities. Mr. Lapides is a member of the Advisory Board of the National Association of Corporate Directors and served on the NACD�s Blue Ribbon Commission on Audit Committees (1999). His real estate experience includes managing a $3 billion national portfolio of income-producing real estate consisting of 42,000 multi-family units and 16 million square feet of commercial space. |
