Paul Reynolds, III, the Founder and Managing Director of Triangle Securities, is a 28 year veteran of the securities industry. In 1980, Paul began his career with Carolina Securities Corporation and moved his financial practice to Wheat First Securities in 1989. In 1992, as one of Wheat First�s top financial advisors, he was honored to receive the firm�s highest award for ethical standards, The Professional Excellence Award.
After Wheat First was acquired by First Union Bank, Paul, a Certified Portfolio Manager, could see the future trend of further consolidation and founded Triangle Securities, LLC in response. Today, Triangle Securities provides an alternative to large national firms which rely primarily on investment products by offering comprehensive wealth management strategies and the highest level of personal attention.
Prior to entering the financial services industry, Paul served as a fund raising advisor to the late U.S. Senator John East. He also served as finance director for U.S. Senator Jesse Helms� 1978 re-election campaign and coordinated the successful eastern North Carolina 1976 primary campaign of President Ronald Reagan.
An active community member, Paul is a member and former director of the Raleigh Kiwanis Club and former board member of the Raleigh Little Theater. He is a current trustee of St. Mary�s School and a former trustee of St. Timothy Hale Episcopal School. Paul also volunteers regularly at the Shepherd�s Table soup kitchen and is a member of Christ Episcopal Church.
Paul has also used his extensive fundraising experience to help numerous nonprofit organizations in the Triangle area. He and five friends started a Thursday morning Bible study over five years ago and still meet every week. Paul and his wife, Lynn, have two children, Mary Margaret and Paul. He enjoys biking, spending time with his family, going to the beach, playing golf and working in his yard. |
