Mr. Paul James Sorensen is Select Staffing�s President, to whom much of Select Staffing�s operating territory management reports. He oversees regions across the country from the West Coast of California to the East Coast of Virginia. In addition, he has overall authority for much of the company�s operating strategy.
Mr. Sorensen was hired in 2001 to head up the acquisition of a three-office operation in Southern California. After spearheading that effort, he took on the entire San Diego Region. Under his leadership, Select Staffing�s San Diego region more than tripled in size and grew by more than $35 million in less than three years.
After the success he found in San Diego, Mr. Sorensen was given a bigger responsibility, taking on other regions in California, Texas, Colorado, and Missouri. All regions experienced growth under his guidance.
In additional to regional oversight, Mr. Sorensen is involved in nearly all aspects of the company�s operations in general recruiting efforts, sales management, financial analysis, and acquisition target searches, just to name a few. Thus, in 2007 he was named the company�s President.
Prior to Select Staffing, Mr. Sorensen worked as a management consultant for both Bain & Company as well as Booz Allen & Hamilton, in Los Angeles and New York. He completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and with Honors with a double-major in Accounting and French Literature. He received his Masters in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. |
