As Managing Director Risk Management Paul Brandow is responsible for developing an integrated and fully independent risk management function for E*Trade. Mr. Brandow came to E*Trade Financial with more than 30 years of experience at JPMorgan Chase. Most recently Mr. Brandow served as President JPMorgan Securities Inc. where he was responsible for all operating activities of the $185 billion (balance sheet) broker-dealer and represented the firm in its relationships with regulators.
Mr. Brandow has also served as Chief Operating Officer of JPMorgan Investment Bank Americas of JPMorgan Global Institutional Equities and of Chase Global Markets. Prior to these appointments he held a series of international leadership positions with Chase in Europe South America and Asia.
Mr. Brandow serves as Treasurer of the University Settlement Society in New York City and as a Trustee of the Graduate Theological Union in Berkley CA. He earned a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College.
