Paul Cerjan became president of L-3 Government Services, Inc. (GSI) in April 2006. Prior to joining L-3 GSI, he was Kellogg, Brown and Root�s Vice President/Program Manager for LOGCAP III Middle East/Central Asia from July 2004 until July 2005. LOGCAP III ME/CA operates in eight countries with approximately 53,000 employees and subcontractors and has an annual operating budget of approximately $10 billion. Subsequent to retiring from the U.S. Army, Mr. Cerjan served first as the Director of Land Operations for Loral Corporation, then the Director of Intelligent Transportation Systems for Lockheed Martin Corporation, next the President of Regent University and finally the President/CEO of the National Defense University Foundation prior to joining Kellogg, Brown and Root. Mr. Cerjan was a professional soldier for 34 years, during which time he held myriad command and staff positions, served in seven different divisions and rose to the rank of Lieutenant General. Key military assignments included serving as the Deputy Commander in Chief, U.S. Army, Europe and Seventh Army; Commander, 21st Theater Army Area Command, U.S. Army, Europe; President of the National Defense University and Commandant of the Army War College. His active duty service included two tours in Vietnam. Mr. Cerjan earned a Master of Science degree in Construction Management from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the United States Military Academy, West Point. He has attended the U.S. Army War College, as well as the Senior Government Leaders Course at Harvard University. He is the recipient of numerous U.S. and foreign military awards and decorations. Mr. Cerjan is a Registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He is on the Board of Directors, Army Engineers Association; Advisory Board, NATO Political/Military Workshop, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. |
