Dr. Gitman, age 66, is currently a director on the Board and has served as a director of the Company since 1990. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review. Following 25 years in private medical practice he joined the fulltime faculty of Long Island Jewish Medical Center where he became Medical Director. In 2007, Dr Gitman was promoted to Vice President of Medical Affairs for the North Shore Long Island Jewish Health system. Dr. Gitman is currently an Associate Professor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine as well as the Vice Chairman of the Medical Society of the State of New York�s Committee for Physician�s Health. He has served on the New York State Board of Medicine for 10 years and on various New York State Committees and Task Forces. He is past President of both the New York Chapter of the American College of Physicians and the Medical Society of the County of Queens. Dr. Gitman received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. |
