Paul Higgins is a Managing Director in Major, Lindsey & Africa's Washington, D.C. office. Before joining MLA, Paul practiced intellectual property law for nearly five years at Sughrue Mion, PLLC in Washington D.C. Paul joined Sughrue after years of practicing complex civil litigation with two other D.C. law firms. Paul's own experience as an intellectual property attorney is especially invaluable to IP attorneys looking for new positions.
Paul has successfully placed attorneys from a wide variety of practice areas into top law firm and in-house positions. He brings a hands-on, sincere approach to his recruiting practice, and enjoys helping candidates find a professionally and personally rewarding position.
Paul received his J.D., cum laude, from the Catholic University, Columbus School of Law in 1995 and received his B.A. in political science from the University of New Hampshire in 1991. Paul grew up in New England and currently resides in the Truxton Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C. He enjoys international travel when he has the opportunity. In his free time, Paul likes to run, play golf, and read history and philosophy.
