Paul Michalski is a partner in the Firm�s Corporate Department. Paul�s experience is broad-based, encompassing corporate finance transactions (including bank financings and public and private debt and equity issuances, representing both borrowers/issuers and lenders/underwriters), mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and joint ventures. He has also been involved in advising on recent corporate governance and securities law reform, including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.
Paul's recent financing experience includes advising borrowers in connection with various types of bank financings, representing underwriters in connection with equity offerings and convertible, high yield and investment grade debt offerings by U.S. and non-U.S. issuers and representing various non-U.S. issuers in connection with initial U.S. listings, as well as both equity and debt offerings. He has also been involved in a number of major international and cross-border acquisitions, spin-offs and divestitures.
Paul was born in Amsterdam, New York. He joined Cravath in 1986 and became a partner in 1994. From January 1996 through June 2000, Paul was one of the two resident partners in the Firm�s London office.
