Paul has been with OZ since 1989 and has acted as the Project Architect, Project Manager, or Principal-in-Charge on numerous, complex projects, including large-scale multi-family housing and numerous office and advanced technology facilities. He is also one of our strongest architects on issues of code compliance and continues to prove his project management abilities time and time again. A recent example of Paul's Project Management success is the multi-building Bear Creek Apartments complex for the University of Colorado. One of the key challenges faced by Paul and his team was the short schedule. Tremendous teamwork was required in order to design, produce construction documents, bid the project, and receive necessary approval from the University and the City of Boulder within a 5-month timeframe, and approval also had to be secured from the University's facilities department, which was concerned with the programmatic and logistical issues as well as the University's Design Review Board which provides oversight for all campus design. Paul is currently working on the Ritz-Carlton Resort in Lake Tahoe, Nevada |
