Paul Senior is an Industry Veteran, with over 22 years experience in the Radio Telecommunication Industry.
He started his Career at GEC Telecoms and worked in research at Plessey Research, and Nortel's BNR. Paul developed Network Planning techniques for the early GSM network deployments for Nortel, where he became the Product Manager for Nortel's GSM Radio and Switching Products. After a brief spell at Alcatel, Paul joined the Airspan product division at DSC Communications in 1994. In 1997 Paul was part of a team that spun Airspan out of DSC Communications in advance of the Alcatel acquisition. During his 13 years in Airspan, Paul has served as Head of Airspan's Radio Planning Team, Director of Customer Services, Senior Director of Operations and Sales, Asia Pacific, and as Vice President, Marketing and Product Management.
In late 2002, Paul participated in the creation of today's WiMAX Forum, alongside other industry visionaries. Paul is very active within the WiMAX Forum and is one of it's most vocal evangelists. Paul is a Charter Board member of the WiMAX Forum. |
