Paul Steinway is President of the Power group for Knight Inc. (f/k/a Kinder Morgan, Inc.). He oversees the business activities associated with four operating natural gas-fired electricity generating facilities in which Knight (f/k/a KMI) has an interest. Mr. Steinway joined the company in 1998 and is the inventor of Kinder Morgan's patented hybrid combined cycle power plant technology.
Prior to joining Kinder Morgan, Mr. Steinway was a partner in the Thermo Companies, a private independent power plant developer, owner, and operator. His energy career spans more than 30 years and includes engineering and management positions with General Electric Company and Sithe Energies. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Institute of Aviation.
Knight Inc. (f/k/a Kinder Morgan, Inc.) is one of the largest energy transportation and storage companies in North America. It owns an interest in or operates approximately 38,000 miles of pipelines that transport primarily natural gas, crude oil, petroleum products and CO2, and over 155 terminals that store, transfer and handle products like gasoline and coal.
