Mr. Weinberg joined Elron in September 2001 as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Mr. Weinberg brings to Elron extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and investments in technology companies. Mr. Weinberg serves as a director of certain of Elron's group companies including NuLens. Prior to joining Elron, from 1996-2001, Mr. Weinberg was a senior lawyer at Yigal Arnon & Co., a leading Israeli law firm. Mr. Weinberg also worked previously in leading South Africa law firms prior to moving to Israel in 1996.
Mr. Weinberg serves as a member of the board of the Association of Corporate Counsels, Israel Chapter. Mr. Weinberg holds a BA degree in Law and Psychology and a post graduate degree in Law, both from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa as well as an MBA from the Kellogg Recanati International Executive M.A Program of Tel-Aviv University and Northwestern University. Mr. Weinberg is a member of the Israeli Bar and South African Bar. |
