Mr. Wilga received his MS in toxicology from the University of Michigan in 1993. He then accepted a position as a research toxicologist for Dow Corning Corporation in the biochemical and molecular toxicology group. In that position, Mr. Wilga served as the laboratory group leader and was instrumental in the design and execution of studies designed to evaluate changes in cytochrome P450 expression and activity. In 1999 Mr. Wilga moved to Pharmacia Corporation in Kalamazoo, Michigan, in order to join the Investigative Toxicology Unit, where his research focused on the development of unique in vitro models for predicting toxicity. Mr. Wilga has vast experience with many different cell lines, primary cell cultures, and tissue culture systems. He also has extensive experience with the development and validation of many different biochemical assay systems. Mr. Wilga has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts and has presented more than 20 papers at national scientific meetings. He is a full member of the Society of Toxicology. |
