Paul Wilson is MapFrame�s founder, president and chief technologist. Paul�s involvement in GIS technology dates back to 1975, when he developed one of the country�s first large GIS databases for the San Francisco Association of Bay Area Governments. He later founded Geogroup, a Berkeley-based software company specializing in desktop mapping for utilities and government agencies. After selling Geogroup, he founded MapFrame in 1991, intent on extending mapping capabilities out of the office into the field. Paul currently oversees MapFrame�s overall corporate growth and development activities. He guides software development and heads special technical initiatives. Paul holds a bachelor�s degree from Vanderbilt University and a master�s degree from the University of Mississippi. |
