Dr. Livingston has been the Director of Health for Jackson County Health Department for three and one half years and remains a practicing dentist. Prior to that time she was Director of the Saint Louis County Department of Health, Associate Professor, Saint Louis University School of Public Health and District Health Director for the Missouri Department of Health.
She received a Bachelor's Degree from Fisk University, a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of Missouri, School of Dentistry, and a Master's Degree from Saint Louis University School of Public Health. She completed the Program for Senior Executives in State and Local Government at John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University and was a Fellow of the Manpower Access to Community Health (MATCH) Administrative and Health Policy Program at John's Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health.
Dr. Livingston serves on numerous boards and committees including Heart of America United Way Board of Directors, St. Louis 2004 Co-Chair, Health Action Team, Vestry Member - Saint Augustine's Episcopal Church, St. Louis Primary Care Council, Community Health Care Coalition, Archbishop's Commission on Community Health, Metropolitan AIDS Task Force, Episcopal Social Services Board of Directors and Western Area Health Education Commission Board, Air Quality Forum, University of Missouri Medical School Board of Visitors, Founding member of the Greater Kansas City Asthma Coalition, Kansas University School of Public Health Advisory Board and The City of Lee's Summit Health Education Advisory Board. |
