Paula is a senior engineering executive with over 20 years experience in a broad range of technologies and a proven track record for delivering quality commercial software. She has repeatedly built highly motivated development teams and managed geographically distributed engineering groups, India offshore teams, and Japanese and Chinese partners. She has a balanced experience base from start-ups to large public companies. Before joining the company, Paula was Director of Engineering at Pervasive Software. There, she led the Integration Business Unit engineering functions that included Product Development, Quality Engineering, Documentation, and Customer Support teams. She directed the 75 distributed and offshore engineers and drove quality and process improvements. Prior to her tenure at Pervasive, Paula was Vice President of Engineering at Liaison Technology. There, Paula played a key role developing and delivering the initial product set and building the engineering team. Paula has also held a series of positions with increasing responsibility at JetForm (now Adobe), Lotus, and Cognos. Paula holds a Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo. |
