Payne Brown has served as the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives developing Comcast's comprehensive diversity strategy including the development of programming content and target marketing public affairs and community investment initiatives. He also manages a number of strategic relationships with various industries the government and special interest groups. Brown previously served as Vice President of Labor and Community Outreach where he was responsible for labor and employment issues. He was the lead negotiator during labor union contract negotiations and assisted field operations with employment issues. Prior to joining Comcast Brown was an attorney at a general law practice representing businesses dealing with employee issues.
Brown serves as an advisory board member to many non profit organizations including the Honickman Learning Center YMCA Achievers Philadelphia Outward Bound and the Philadelphia Workforce Investment Board.
He received a B.S. in Management form Purdue University and a J.D. from George Washington University National Law Center. He currently lives in Philadelphia. |
