Prior to joining RatnerPrestia, Ms. Siew practiced in an intellectual property boutique firm in New York City. She has extensive patent litigation experience, primarily relating to pharmaceutical litigation under the Hatch-Waxman Act, where she has represented both patentees and accused infringers. Ms. Siew counsels clients regarding patent strategies for developing products for commercial sale, and has prepared Notice of Paragraph IV Certifications and the Detailed Legal and Factual Bases for such certifications in Abbreviated New Drug Applications. In addition, Ms. Siew has experience with patent interferences, and has appeared before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit as well the United States Patent and Trademark Office Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences. Ms. Siew received her bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Boston University in 1994. She received her law degree from Temple University School of Law in 2000, where she was a member of the Temple Law Review. Temple also commended Ms. Siew for Outstanding Oral Advocacy in Legal Research and Writing, as well as Distinguished Class Performance in Temple's Advanced Trial Advocacy Program. Ms. Siew is a member of several bar associations, including the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, where she has played violin with the association's Lawyer's Orchestra.
