G. Pearson Smith, Jr.
Profile : Pearson Smith is a partner in the Estate and Business Succession Planning and Business Services Groups. For more than 40 years, Mr. Smith has helped companies and individuals with all aspects of their estate planning, executive compensation, exempt organization and employee benefits. He is a frequent lecturer on subjects relating to taxes and estate planning. He is certified as an Indiana Estate Planning and Administration Specialist by the Estate Planning and Administration Specialty Certification Board of Indiana. Mr. Smith is past chairperson of the Indianapolis Bar Association Section on Taxation. Currently, Mr. Smith is a member of the Indianapolis and Indiana State Bar Associations and a Fellow of the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel. He graduated from Yale Law School where he was on the Board of Editors of the Yale Law Journal. After law school he joined Bose McKinney & Evans in 1964.
