Peg J. Johnston, the founding partner of BALTD., has been doing business brokerage full time since January 1983. As the former owner of an electrical contracting firm, Peg understands personally the complexities of purchasing, operating and selling a business. Business brokerage is a passion for Peg, helping business owners and potential purchasers clarify and meet their needs. Peg is a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), a memberof IBBA, CABI, TEC Assoc., WPO, and NAWBO. She earned a BA and Cum Laude with Honors and Distinction in Mathematics from Colby College, in Waterville Maine. The Denver Business Journal and NAWBO recognized Peg, August 2002, as one of ten Outstanding Women in Business and the winner of the Jean Yancey Small Business Award. Active in the community, Peg has served on numerous Boards - NAWBO, CWLC, Women�s Equity Fund, Boy Scouts of America-Explorers, Rotary Int�l District 5450, Denver Rotary Club, Arapahoe Community College, Community Resources, Inc., Denver Athletic Club, and is a mentor for Denver Kids, Inc. In January 2003, Peg will serve with the Board of Directors for Women�s Business Research, located in Washington, DC. |
