Peg Tichacek began her career as a junior volunteer at St. Joseph's Hospital in Kirkwood, MO. Later, she completed a bachelor's degree in nursing at the University of Tulsa. During this period and following graduation, she worked in nursing at St. John's Mercy Hospital, St. Mary's Health Center and St. Louis University Hospitals in St. Louis, MO.
She moved into her first management position at Barnes Hospital and obtained a Master's in Health Management at Webster University and a MBA at Washington University in St. Louis. While at Barnes Hospital, Peg was the Vice President of Planning and Marketing where she worked in the development of the BJC Health System. At BJC, Peg held three executive positions as the Vice President of Ambulatory Care Planning, Service Integration and Community Health and Wellness. She has served as the Vice President of Strategic Planning at VCHS since 1999. |
