Per-Olof is past President and CEO of Sensormatic Electronics Corporation, at the time the world leader in electronic security. He successfully led the international, billion-dollar company through a difficult turnaround and managed a successful acquisition by Tyco.
A native of Sweden, Per-Olof has an extensive background in global business. He served as Senior Vice President of NCR's Financial Solutions Group, one of the world's leading suppliers to the retail financial services industry, where he had overall worldwide responsibility for annual sales of $3 billion in a total of more than 100 countries. Prior to NCR, Per-Olof was CEO of AT&T ISTEL, one of Europe's leading providers of integrated computing and communication services, and was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Europe at Digital Equipment Corporation. He has also been a senior consultant and manager with Arthur Andersen & Co. in both the United States and Sweden.
Currently, he is CEO of KEMET Electronics Corporation, a global leader in the manufacturing of passive components for the electronics industry; and is a board member of BioSensor as well as Devcon International, a construction and materials business in the Caribbean. |
