Per Insinger was responsible for spearheading the Financial Services Practice in the Netherlands in 1997. He now focuses primarily on the investment and corporate banking and investment management sectors as well as private equity, real estate, insurance, legal, chief financial officers and HR.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Per worked at ABN Bank in Hong Kong and Singapore, where he was responsible for investment banking activities in Southeast Asia. In 1989, he transferred to New York with ABN Capital Markets Corporation, where he was responsible for covering the North America region.
In 1990, Per returned to the Netherlands with ABN AMRO Bank NV, where he advised Dutch clients on initial private offerings. He also consulted German, Swiss, French and Austrian clients on debt and equity capital market transactions. Earlier in his career, Per was involved in the private banking industry as a member of the Nachenius, Tjeenk & Co. NV management team - the Dutch private banking subsidiary of ABN AMRO Bank NV (now BNP Paribas).
Education
Per holds a master's degree in Dutch law from the University of Utrecht. He is fluent in Dutch, English and German, and has a basic understanding of French.
