Perry Constantine, CEO, brings to Optichron a stellar track record of high tech management and entrepreneurship, particularly in marketing and sales, with both large companies and start-ups. During his 25-year career, Constantine has served as CEO for three semiconductor companies as well as the Canadian operations for one of the semiconductor industry's largest enterprises. He is known for his strong grasp of technology as well as his focus and ability to achieve business objectives.
Prior to joining Optichron, Constantine served as President and CEO for IP Infusion, a leading provider of network software for enhanced IP communications services, where he restructured the organization, turned the company profitable and led the successful acquisition of IPI by Access, a major Japanese public company. Before that, he founded and served as President and CEO of Silicon Access Networks, an industry leader in intelligent data path solutions and turnkey reference systems for the Ethernet Layer 2-Layer 4 switch/router market. Constantine formed the management and best-of-breed engineering team, secured financing from blue-chip investors, oversaw partner and customer relationships, and secured major design wins in Asia and North America with products introduced up to two years ahead of competitors.
Earlier in his career, Constantine served as President and CEO for Redwood Microsystems, an industry leader in mass flow control for advanced semiconductor processing; spent 10 years at LSI Logic Corp., including positions as VP Marketing and Sales, Senior Vice President Pacific Rim, and President and CEO for LSI Logic Canada, where he co-founded the business and grew it from $5 million to $55 million in annual revenues within two years; was VP Marketing, Sales and Field Service for EATON Corp. Semiconductor Equipment Group; and held various sales, sales management and regional sales director positions with Fairchild Semiconductor. Constantine earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. |
