Pete joined MBS in 1988 as a senior systems programmer. In this role, he was responsible for the day-to-day management of all software components running IBM mainframe hardware. Over time, these responsibilities grew to include networking and communications both for internal and external client needs. In Pete's current capacity, he directs a staff of information technology professionals. His group is responsible for the network (Novell, NT, UNIX, and IBM Mainframe), all data and telecommunications, IP networking, database dba functions, workstation implementation, and troubleshooting. Prior to joining MBS, Pete spent several years with Computer Associates as a divisional systems engineer traveling the Northeast to troubleshoot and implement CA products. He also spent several years in retail with Associated Dry Goods as a systems engineer installing and implementing point-of-sales systems within the ADG Divisions. |
