Peter Eveleth was appointed by the Board of Directors of the Office of Compliance to the position of General Counsel for a five-year term commencing June 2003. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Eveleth served as Senior Special Counsel to the General Counsel of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) since 1994. In that capacity, he advised the General Counsel, Board Members, and senior management officials, principally with respect to internal labor and employment relations matters. Mr. Eveleth represented the NLRB in litigation before administrative agencies, including MSPB, FLRA, EEOC, arbitrators, and federal courts. He was also instrumental in NLRB efforts to develop and implement alternative dispute resolution practices, serving as the agency�s designated Dispute Resolution Specialist. |
