Mr. Deeks has over 21 years experience in project management, design and supervision of engineering and construction of large-scale projects, including facility modifications and design of new facilities for aerospace companies. Projects have ranged from small $100,000 (construction cost) renovations to $200 Million launch facility renovations and new building construction. The scope of these projects encompasses all disciplines of the architecture and engineering fields. Current projects include the installation and retrofit of Air Traffic Control Tower equipment and tower design and construction. Mr. Deeks has been responsible for over 100 engineers and designers, project schedule, funds and resources to perform these tasks. As a Senior Vice President, he also assists in Business Development, proposal efforts and customer satisfaction.
Pete has been with AJT since inception and has worked on all design projects that have originated in the Cape Canaveral office. Prior to AJT, he worked as a facility engineer for EG&G Florida at Kennedy Space Center and Pan Am World Services at Cape Canaveral AFS.
Mr. Deeks holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology. He is a Professional Engineer in the State of Florida (PE 38602), as well as a member of the Board of Advisors at Florida Tech. |
