Peter D. Holbrook is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm�s Orange County office. As partner in the Labor and Employment Group, Peter has represented many employers in both the private and public sectors in matters pertaining to employment law, including employment discrimination and harassment, wrongful termination and arbitrations. On behalf of employers, he has successfully enforced restrictive covenants between employers and their current and former employees relating to the protection of trade secrets, unlawful client or employee solicitations and improper use of confidential information. He consults with and represents clients on the enforceability of non-competition agreements, breach of employment contract, trade secrets and unfair competition matters. Peter has substantial experience litigating wage and hour cases, including class action cases.
Peter represents clients in both federal and state court litigation, as well as in administrative proceedings before such agencies as the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission, the National Labor Relations Board and others. Peter has substantial experience litigating cases involving ADA issues, including both employment and public accommodation. He also consults with clients on a broad array of employment matters.
During law school, Peter served as the editor of the Villanova Law Review.
Peter is admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern, Eastern, Central and Southern districts of California. Peter has appeared Pro Hac Vice for clients in various other states.
